The Glavcots are owned by our eldest daughter and shown under her own name.

The Golden Glavcot is a small breed with an ideal adult weight of just over 2.5kg.

The Glavcots were officially extinct until the 1960's when a Mr. J irons spent 10 - 15 years trying to recreate the breed and bring them back, Meg Brown took them on and in 1976 took them to their very first show in Doncaster  - sadly now in 2024 there are still only a small handful of breeders in the U.K with them, including our daughter.

They are a little bit more lively & inquisitive than the bigger, heavier breeds that I am used to, but all of them have fantastic temperaments and always come to the door for fuss & attention and they all love a cuddle - they really are a wonderful breed.
